The workplace of the future at Visana

At the same time, Visana was faced with the task of renewing the existing workplace infrastructure (PC fleet and Windows upgrade, printers, telephony, network). 

Standardization as a solution

In a joint team under the leadership of atrete, the concrete requirements of the different user groups were recorded and compared with the solution variants - the winner: "Convertible only". With this approach, Visana secures advantages in terms of operation, work efficiency and investment protection for the future workplace, among other things. This decision was supported by design and sizing clarifications for the network connections per location class.

After the freestyle, the architecture and the roll-out as duty

Together with atrete, Visana organized the architecture decision for the future digital workplace, coordinated the procurement and roll-out for the future convertibles. The procurement was carried out by means of an invitation to tender that was comprehensible for all parties involved. The "decommissioning", i.e. the professional and security-appropriate disposal of the existing PCs during the roll-out, could also be arranged at interesting conditions. The support of atrete was decisive for all these tasks.
